The HuFive Quintet is a musical composition of five professional musicians who love music and are young at heart. Combining four huqins with a cello, the power of five quintuples their infectious delight, hence its name “HuFive”! Their music is rich and lively, full of elements extracted from the experience of life, yet out-of-the-box; the wealth of elements includes Chinese music, folk songs, classical music, pop music, movie soundtrack. They not only express the nature of various genres, but also break free from tradition and develop huqin ensembles that are original and unique.
